Dan was born and raised in Temple, Texas, where he spent much of his time around the law practice of his grandfather, Jim D. Bowmer, the 60th President of the State Bar of Texas. Dan graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1994 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and then earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2000. While in law school, Dan clerked for one of the state’s most prominent litigators, Wayne Fisher with the firm Fisher, Boyd, Brown, Boudreaux & Huguenard. While there, Dan learned the critical importance of commitment to clients and the dedication required to achieve superior advocacy in high profile litigation.
Dan has worked in numerous areas of the law including insurance litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, toxic tort, consumer protection, and commercial business disputes. The protection of individual consumers, businesses, and injured victims drives his passion for the law and the legal pursuit of justice in situations that have created adversity and hardship.
Dan joined The Voss Law Firm, P.C. in August 2017, during which time he has primarily focused on managing dockets of residential and commercial first party insurance cases, personal injury, and business disputes as the firm’s case manager. He thrives on zealously advocating for the firm’s clients while seeking to establish long term relationships with them through prompt resolution of their cases.
