As proud Americans, the team at The Voss Law Firm is always looking for ways to give back to our nation's veterans and are overjoyed at any opportunity we get to give back to the brave men and women who protect our country. Recently, The Voss Law Firm was able to do just that!
In September The Voss Law Firm donated an offshore fishing trip experience in Costa Rica to wounded service members via the Freedom Alliance and Brain Treatment Foundation: both of these organizations help veterans in their own unique ways.
Freedom Alliance is an organization that offers extraordinary support to our nation's military; from helping them meet their rehabilitation needs to caring for families who have lost their loved ones by providing college scholarships to the fallen heroes children--Freedom Alliance is a wonderful group that honors and encourages our brave men and women. The Brain Treatment Foundation is a non-profit that provides support to those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries, concussion, neurological disorders, cognitive function decline and Post-Traumatic Stress: they do this by providing "support for brain health initiatives relating to treatment, rehabilitation, research and public education." With the help of both of these fantastic organizations, The Voss Law Firm was able to create wonderful memories for the brave men who surved our country so valiantly. The trip included wounded men from the Army Rangers, the Army Special Forces (Medic) and a Recon Marine. All of these brave soldiers were wounded while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.
It was very fortunate that there was such beautiful weather for them that made it possible for them to have a whopping 14 Sailfish bites! The Voss Law Firm hopes the men were able to make some amazing memories out there on the beautiful Costa Rican waters!
